I’m Daniel / Dan (anything but Danny) — a photographer and art director with a background in music, fashion, and film. For over a decade, I created visual work for brands like Dior, Netflix, Pinterest, Leica and Spotify, and collaborated with some of the world’s most celebrated music artists.

Things changed when I photographed a friend’s wedding. I didn’t expect it to affect me the way it did — something so personal, emotional, and beautifully human.

Since then, I’ve devoted myself to photographing weddings, bringing an artful, personal, and relaxed approach to each celebration. My clients are often creatives themselves — whether professionally or simply through a love of photography, design and art — people who care deeply about aesthetics and emotion in equal measure. On a wedding day, I use both analogue film and digital, drawing on years of experience in visual direction to create images that feel timeless, expressive, and reflect my couples and their celebrations.

My role goes far beyond turning up with a camera — I work closely with each couple throughout the process, offering insight across styling, creative planning, day-design and personal touch-points. On the day, I move with calm intention, capturing the beauty in both the normal, elevated and the in-between moments.

In 2025, I was named one of the UK’s Top 50 Wedding Photographers by Professional Photo Magazine, and my wedding commissions now cover celebrations all over with the majority being in Europe and the U.K.

I take on up to 20 celebrations a year with bookings opening 18 months in advance for each calendar year.

  • I'm based in London, U.K. Each year, I cover weddings across the world with the majority of my year spent in Italy, France, The Balearics and the U.K.

  • I am booked anywhere from 24 months in advance to 9 months in advance. If you are considering me as your photographer, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue booked. It is always worth reaching out and the above serves as a guideline.

  • I create a preview gallery within 72 hours of your wedding date, film previews within 7 working days and your full gallery is available to view online within 8 weeks of your wedding date.

  • I love meeting up over the planning period and always have at least two meetings with my couples before we get to your Wedding day. All my booked couples have a year-round group chat to discuss anything that may come up that I can help with. Our meetings are incredibly important to the imagery we capture and establish a comfort, confidence and rapport.
I’m available for all London meetings in person and, failing that, we can chat via video call making sure everything is covered and accounted for.

  • Sadly, it doesn’t. I’m always happy to discuss budgets but I don’t offer discounts on quotations.

  • You really aren't alone! The first thing to remember is that this is your wedding and you are going to be riding on a wave of adrenaline, excitement and anticipation pre and post ceremony. I use our portrait time as a special and rare wedding day opportunity for guaranteed time as just the two of you away from the crowd. I will take you on a little walk through areas i've recce'd and give gentle prompts to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy this brilliant pocket of time you have with your partner.

For couples who want to get more experience in front of camera, I offer engagement and trial shoots to build confidence. Rest assured, over the year of planning, our time together really helps build a relationship where the portrait section of the day flies by.

  • I offer registries to my full day wedding couples and, for any further enquiring couples looking for shorter coverage, I often have last minute slots appear 2-3 months out from your wedding date on midweeks. Feel free to enquire for my availability.

  • I am very happy to talk through shorter days and it really is down to the couple, the date, the ideas and the opportunity for creativity.

Drop me a message, there's absolutely no reason why it isn't possible if i'm available.

  • A full day on analogue film is possibly the most fun out there. I typically shoot 30-35 rolls of medium format and 35mm on a full day that's solely shot on film.

  • I use up to six cameras on a wedding day. My digital kit are Leica and Nikon cameras . I have film cameras in medium format, 35mm and half frame formats from Leica, Makina, Nikon, Canon, Contax that I pivot between on a wedding day depending on the light and moment. They each have their own expression and magic.

  • My studio does offer cinema film packages that start from £4750. Our films are shot and delivered by my team member Louis Bryant. Louis is an incredible Film Director who works with me on up to 10 weddings a year in parallel to his busy schedule as a commercials film director.

  • The files from your wedding day are backed up in 5 different locations with the utmost care. One of these drives remains on my person year round. These five backups consist of the following.
    1. A cloud back up on your gallery is backed up on the cloud and available for two years.
    2. A NAS raid drive
    3. 1 x ssd portable main drive
    4. 1 x ssd portable back-up drive
    5. A further final file jpg set on a dropbox backup.
